Kyle Edmund continued to rewrite his own history by sensationally stunning third seed Grigor Dimitrov to seal his first ever Grand Slam semi-final place.
The Brit was in inspired form once more at the Australian Open, defeating the much-fancied Bulgarian 6-3 3-6 6-3 6-4.
His victory in Melbourne means he becomes only the sixth British man in the Open era to reach the semi-finals of a Grand Slam.
After his win, Edmund admitted he was over the moon and relishing the prospect of taking on Rafael Nadal or Marin Cilic in the last four.
"It's an amazing feeling," said the 23-year-old Yorkshireman.
"With these sort of things, you're emotionally engaged and you don't take it in. At the end of a hard match, I just tried to enjoy the moment.
"It's my first match on this court and it was very special.
"It's great. You don't think of those things when you play but it's something to be proud of.
"As a kid you're growing up looking at your idols and when you're here progressing in the best tournament in the world, it's amazing."
The Beverley player fully deserved his victory, with solid defensive work and his trademark powerful forehand leaving Dimitrov chasing shadows.
He broke the 26-year-old, who beat home favourite Nick Kyrgios in a terrific quarter-final encounter last time out, in the opening game, setting the tone for another memorable performance by Edmund, already enjoying his best-ever run in a major.
The British number two powered to the first set 6-4, before Dimitrov levelled the match 6-3 in the second, but he was far from convincing.
